“ Dr. Iebba and her staff are wonderful! I came in looking do some cosmetic work. Obviously, it had to be the best, because, well, its my teeth. After bad experiences with dentists trying to hustle me, I came in with all of my research. I immediately relaxed after a few minutes. Dr. Iebba is kind, honest and understanding. After my cosmetic work, I will probably switch over to do all of my cleanings and such. Just an FYI, I got the Zoom whitening done. At first, I left disappointed because I wanted my teeth to look like the Hollywood stars. However, when I stepped out, it was Holy Whiteness! So yeah, the office has a weird lighting, so don't despair! And her price is soooooo reasonable. I was in disbelief. So glad I found her! ”

“ I wish my cleaning had been a little more in depth. The Hygienist cleaned around my gums which was really painful, and then flossed and had me rinse. I thought there were a few more steps or at least a polishing at the end, but none of those things happened. I didn't feel like the problems I had were really solved, and the solutions I was given were really just ones I already knew like a different toothbrush and toothpaste, which I have already tried. The staff was fairly nice though. I like the front desk girl Cindy. :) ”

“ I�ve had two appointments at Reading Dental Associates. The first was just a cleaning six months ago and then today a cleaning and filling. The staff is very nice and the dentists very professional. I had no pain or discomfort during my drilling and filling. They numb the gums before injection of Novocain. They clean with a water pick that gets under the gum line for a super clean result. It can hurt on some gums but mostly painless. TVs are in every treatment room. Coffee and tea in the waiting area. I pay for parking but there are also on street spots close by. ”

“ I met Dr. Iebba through a recommendation and she told me about veneers. The office offered 0% interest financing for full mouth veneers. Dr. Iebba never made me feel uncomfortable - she gave me a thorough exam and calmed my nerves about my required dental work (particularly, a broken crown and a visit to an oral surgeon). The dental assistants are extremely kind and welcoming, and know how to properly give Novocain (another one of my fears). Dr. Iebba gave me a full mouth veneers as a replacement to my old misaligned teeth. She did an excellent job - my teeth look and feel natural, and I'm much more confident and proud of my smile. During the five hours of work (in one session), Dr. Iebba was incredibly patient and detail-oriented. I could tell she wanted the end result to be perfect as I did, and I'll admit that my teeth are perfect now! The quality of my veneers is amazing. Recently, I had a nasty fall where my teeth hit concrete, and nothing happened to my veneers! ”

“ I had a lower molar filling replaced by another dentist some months ago and it was a horribly painful experience. The tooth was never right and on Christmas night, that tooth broke. After failed attempts to reach the dentist who did the work due to his 2-week office closure, I opted to call this practice. They got me in as soon as feasibly possible in light of the holidays and am so happy I called! It was determined I needed a root canal. I�ve heard horrible stories about the procedure from others and was absolutely dreading it. Specialist Dr. Fooks performed the root canal and she is amazing. As unpleasant as a root canal can be on an extremely sensitive tooth, she made it nearly painless. After 2 days, the tooth feels great � as though no work was done. She has a very nice �chair-� side manner and the staff is super friendly. Am very pleased with this practice! ”

“ Cannot imagine how a dentist could be better than Dr. Iebba I cannot imagine how a dentist could be better than Dr. Iebba. I had not been to the dentist for over 12 years until recently. I made an appointment at Dr. Iebba's office only because of the proximity of her office to where I work. Only after the appointment was made did I bother to read the glowing reviews that have already been posted about her. Those reviews, however, still did little to assuage my fears of the dentist. I went in for a routine cleaning and found Dr. Iebba to be exceedingly kind. She was not condescending or overly critical about my years of dental neglect. Instead she simply encouraged me to begin to get on the right track now. After discovering that I had numerous cavities (a fact I already knew) she set up an appointment with me to come back. Even in this regard, Dr. Iebba was extremely accommodating as she made sure to work with my hectic schedule to find an appropriate date. The thought of having five cavities repaired filled me with dread. Of course, just about everyone is afraid of the dentist, but my fear was such that over the course of more than decade I had put this act off even though I was covered by insurance most of that time. I contemplated cancelling my appointment, but didn't--in large measure because Dr. Iebba had worked with me to find the right time for my appointment and had seemed so reassuring before. Its also worth mentioning that her staff was equally courteous and accommodating. Today, the day after my appointment, I feel fine and I have been telling everyone that, if they need to go to the dentist, they should go to Dr. Iebba. I go back next week to get more cavities repaired (I had nine total). I don’t expect any different results from that visit, however, and I feel much more comfortable with the entire process thanks to Dr. Iebba and her staff. ”

“ Best dentist ever The best dentist ever! This was actually my second visit and I figured I should probably give her a review since I really like her office. However on my first visit when I was filling out the paperwork, I realized I lost my insurance card but since I had 2 co-workers already using her services they took the time to lookup my information for me. They do email and text reminders which is great for folks like me who constantly forget stuff. In fact this was a reschedule because when they called to confirm my last appointment, I had the wrong date listed on my calendar. They were easy going about setting up this new appointment rather than giving a disapproving tone because of my screw-up. As far as the 2nd visit went, I was seen within a minute or 2 of arriving. The hygienist was friendly and asking about any dental concerns including one I brought up at the last visit, which shows me she actually reviewed my file before seeing me. I also inquired about a new night guard and by the end of my cleaning they already had my insurance info on it and my total out of pocket cost should I choose to get one. BTW the hygienist works fast but never once did she nick my gums :) Everyone is warm, friendly and caring. Every step of the way they take the time to make sure you're comfortable and explain what they will be doing so you understand the process. Overall my experience shows me they value my time as much as theirs, they care about their patients as people, not just another file and I've never felt that they are trying to sell you something you don't need. ”

“ I came to Dr. Iebba for a second opinion and really liked her, so switched immediately. She is very professional, thorough and has all the qualities one might be looking for in a dentist. I never felt like I am being "cross-sold" so to speak on any of the procedures. If you have a complicated case, she would never act as a "jack of all trades" that is eager to get their hand on more expensive procedures. Instead, she would always send you to a specialist who deals with those types of cases every day many times a day. I liked that Dr. Iebba lays out all possible treatment options in front of you, tells you pros and cons of each of them and it is really up to you which option you choose. Before I came to Dr. Iebba I always felt like my previous dentist tried to find stuff that just wasn't there and was very interested in doing procedures like crowns and implants when there was no need for them. She knows what she is doing and after referring about six people to her, she has an overwhelming thumbs up from all of us.One story that shows what kind of dentist she is happened when I returned from a trip to Mexico and cracked a tooth...what a pain. I immediately was able to get in to see Dr. Iebba (who stayed and skipped her lunch for me) and was told that we only need to bond it for now and see how it goes. Susan cleaned my teeth and was very thorough. She was efficient, but took the time to make sure I didn't have any questions. I knew I was going to have to fill out forms, so I arrived early and completed my paperwork by the time my appointment was set for. However, I really did not need to come early as I was in the dental chair in about one min. Once in a room, they were very efficient and kind. They explained everything they were doing before they did it. I wouldn't consider myself one of these fearful people but going to the dentist certainly isn't on my list of favorite things to do. They take a super thorough x-ray process on your first visit, but then you only get basic xrays once a year as usual. I used to hate the dentist, but these ladies know what they're doing. ”

“ I love Dr. **** and the staff here! I started going to this clinic over five years ago, when I got my first job that provided dental insurance. I had to have three root canals right away. Before then, I had been terrified of the dentist, but the folks at this dental office were so kind and gentle and understanding that I came to enjoy seeing them. I was so relaxed, I actually dozed off during one of the root canals. I have perpetually bad teeth for reasons beyond my control. Dr. **** always remembered what was going on with me and never berated me for not flossing enough or anything like that. He also remembered that ********* wears off on me very quickly, and was careful to ensure that I got enough to stay numb through procedures. I no longer have insurance they can take, and was having trouble finding another dentist and kept seeing Dr. **** for emergencies. During the last month I had two ********* teeth. For the second one, I had finally found a dentist that took my insurance. But after seeing them and getting antibiotics and painkillers, the tooth got worse. So bad I had to go to the ER in the middle of the night. The next day I called Dr. **** and they got me in immediately. I was in my pajamas, was loopy from lack of sleep and the painkillers the ER gave me, and the ********* wasn't working. Eventually though, they were able to drain the tooth. It turned out, I had been prescribed too little antibiotics, and a muscle relaxer (not a pain killer) by the other dentist. Without insurance, it cost a fortune to get the tooth taken care of, but I have no regrets. The staff and Dr **** have always made me feel comfortable. There are very few medical professionals I can say that about, even in ********** ”

“ I just recently switched to Dr. **** and couldn't be happier. She was thorough, gentle, informative, and on time for the appointment (which is a big plus in my book.) She explained to me exactly what she was doing and priced out the different options with the insurance while I was on the chair so that I could make an informed decision. Best of all, she kept telling met that if for any reason I was unhappy with anything, it was no big deal to come back to her and she would adjust whatever I needed. “ I hate going to the dentist. I'm terrified of them. That being said, I never once felt uncomfortable during my visit. Everyone was extremely friendly, and answered any questions that I had. The office was very clean and updated. After I filled out my paperwork, I waited less than 3 minutes and was taken back for my X-rays. I never waited for more than 5 minutes throughout the entire visit. The dental hygienist (I think her name was ********) was very nice and gentle but thorough. Dr. **** had one of the best patient interaction that I've experienced. I let her know my reservations and that I was nervous, and she talked to me and made me feel at ease. “ I was recommended to Dr. **** from a friend who had dental work by her. I live in ******* so I wasn't too happy about the commute. However, after looking up reviews from other dentists in my surrounding area I was super discouraged and decided to make the trek to see her. So happy I did!! I called to make an appointment and the phone was answered very quickly and within a few minutes the receptionist answered all my questions and we had my first appointment booked. The commute ended up not being bad at all. I was there so fast because it's right off a route 2. Parking is super easy. Was greeted right away and felt super comfortable the entire time. The dental hygienist was very mindful of my comfort while taking my x-rays and I truly appreciate that. They definitely take the time to ask personal questions and make you feel comfortable. Good people and good vibes all around. Dr. **** came in and explained what was going on with my teeth and what was necessary and not necessary. It felt like a zero pressure experience and one of the first times I wasn't over treated for unnecessary treatments (my least favorite thing at the dentist office). After I had a good understanding of what was needed, I spoke with the office manager who walked through insurance, CC information and we made a plan for my work. I came back less than a week later and was able to take care of all my cavities in a zero stress environment. I even got to watch one of my favorite movies while getting the work done. I highly recommend this dentist and his office! ”

“ I had my first (and hopefully last) root canal here and cannot recommend this place enough. There was absolutely no pain during or after the procedure, I never had to take any pain medication. Dr. **** could not have been more professional, detailed or pleasant. She was so precise while creating my crown. “ I have always been uncomfortable about my smile. I always had situations where I never go dates and my friends told me that my teeth pushed men away from me. I just want not born with great teeth and after all, it is the first thing that someone looks at when meets you. I met Dr. Iebba through a recommendation and she told me about veneers. The office offered 0% interest financing for full mouth veneers. Dr. Iebba never made me feel uncomfortable - she gave me a thorough exam and calmed my nerves about my required dental work (particularly, a broken crown and a visit to an oral surgeon). The dental assistants are extremely kind and welcoming, and know how to properly give Novocain (another one of my fears). Dr. Iebba gave me a full mouth veneers as a replacement to my old misaligned teeth. She did an excellent job - my teeth look and feel natural, and I'm much more confident and proud of my smile. Now I have a needlessly drilled and filled tooth. At no point was Sensodyne offered as a solution by your office. There such a push for ratings and followup at your office. “ I wanted to sit down and write a sob story on how awful life was because of my horrible teeth. But, I can't even write it because that is how dramatically my life has changed. Like many of you, I was apprehensive about dental cosmetic work. However, after a divorce and a single mom to a toddler and baby, I wanted to do something for myself. “ I'm not typically a fan of the dentist, it's been years since I've gone and as a result of that I ended up getting a nasty chip in a tooth. After doing a little research and reading other people's reviews I gave Reading Dental Associates a call. They quickly scheduled an appointment for me to come in and have the dentist look at the chip and discuss treatment. I walked into the waiting room and the receptionist was extremely pleasant, double checked all my paperwork and took care of the COVID screening process. Wasn't waiting long before of the hygenists came to have me take x-rays. Tooth was indeed chipped and likely needed a root canal. I've heard plenty of stories about how unpleasant root canals can be so I was instantly anxious. In came Dr Iebba and her assistant Melissa to review my treatment and answer any questions I had. They answered every question I had and definitely put my mind at ease. Luckily they were available right then and there to start the multi appointment root canal and get me back to normal. I initially tried a dental office near Whole Foods and they told me I had seven cavities even though six months earlier my general dentist in Cali told me I had zero. Needless to say, I did not return to this practice. I put off finding a new dentist until this week, and found the option closest to me. The dental clinic surpassed my expectations! Registering as a new patient was incredibly easy and professional (online booking link, finally!). At no point did I feel like another file they file away for insurance purposes, but they consistently made me feel like a human that should be cared for and they even explained everything to me as if I wasn't too dumb to understand "dental speak." They even have a TV on the wall so you can watch whatever you want while getting your teeth cleaned! They were also very thorough explaining to me cost options of x-rays and other treatment. I had an exam by the dentist (she was very nice!!) and my next course of treatment option was explained to me. They can handle an extraction, gum surgery, dental implants, and a bridge all in house. After my exam, I was given a consult for the my dental surgery and bone graft for the very next day! I have significant anxiety about the dentist and they handled that really well. It turns out that I have Sleep Apnea and who knew that a dentist can help with that. I had trouble sleeping and they had an appliance like a retainer that corrects sleeping issues. I am so happy to have found them and I can't recommend them enough. ”

“ I have been going to the this Dental Office for over ten years now. I was referred there since back then there wasn't any reviews to look at or available like this now days. This is a great place for a dentist. I am never left waiting very long for my appointment. Scheduling is rather easy. The hygienists are thorough and gentle, the dentists communicate clearly and work with you to make sure they are meeting your needs. The dentist is very knowledgeable and doesn't talk down to me and explains exactly what is going on and what I can expect. Basically, it is the one practice that my whole family can agree on. I, my son, daughter, wife, ex-wife (& we don't agree on anything), my Dad, heck you name it. They did my dad's implant who is a wonder man, but can be high maintenance and they can handle him. They take many insurances in network and I think they take about everything even if it's out of network. They file it for you with the insurance company and make it easy. I hope this helps, they are conveniently located to get to from anywhere in the city as well. The tooth problem I had turned into a major situation. I ended up having it extracted and opted for a bridge because the extraction left such a big space in my mouth. Dr. Iebba has now done about every major work on my mouth (and my family) that is possible and my teeth are good. It is nice not to have to be referred to another doctor-like for my extraction. ”

“ This was actually my second visit and I figured I should probably give her a review since I really like her office. However on my first visit when I was filling out the paperwork, I realized I lost my insurance card but since I had 2 co-workers already using her services they took the time to lookup my information for me. They do email and text reminders which is great for folks like me who constantly forget stuff. In fact this was a reschedule because when they called to confirm my last appointment, I had the wrong date listed on my calendar. They were easy going about setting up this new appointment rather than giving a disapproving tone because of my mistake. As far as the 2nd visit went, I was seen within a minute or two of arriving. The hygienist was friendly and asking about any dental concerns including one I brought up at the last visit, which shows me she actually reviewed my file before seeing me. I also inquired about a new night guard and by the end of my cleaning they already had my insurance info on it and my total out of pocket cost should I choose to get one. BTW the hygienist works fast but never once did she nick my gums Everyone is warm, friendly and caring. Every step of the way they take the time to make sure you're comfortable and explain what they will be doing so you understand the process. Overall my experience shows me they value my time as much as theirs, they care about their patients as people, not just another file and I've never felt that they are trying to sell you something you don't need. I wanted to go to a dentist that was better than my old one. Dr. Iebba came recommended from a co-worker who did have a fear of dentists so I decided to give her a try. ”

I have gone through my fair amount of dental mishaps- dentists telling me I needed unnecessary work, not checking to see if my insurance covered this work or even swapping my dental records with someone else's! This was not the case with Dr. Iebba. A coworker had referred me and I called after work with 20 minutes to spare before the office had closed. The front desk picked up the phone and even though she had already closed down the computer system, rebooted everything to get me an appointment. Even better, she was happy to do it! “ All my life I hated my smile and I knew as an adult I would choose one special doctor that would help me learn to love my smile for the first time. At the age of 30 searching for the best cosmetic dentist in Boston, but I was diligent and after weeks of searching through hundreds of dentist online I found Reading Dental Associates and decided to take a consult with Dr. Iebba. Upon my arrival, the staff was surprising pleasant and very efficient. Dr. Iebba is an amazing cosmetic dentist I've ever met in my short existence. She reassured me she could fix my smile, explained in detail how the process would proceed and answered all of my questions. I was sold as she flashed her perfect smile and told me I would be ok and I trusted her every word. She rushed my case with the lab and received my veneers in a week due to an upcoming surgery and placed my permanent veneers within days. “ My best dentist appointment yet! I came to Dr. Iebba for a second opinion and really liked her, so switched immediately. Dr. Iebba was super sweet, nice, & efficient. She took the time to get to know me, was very personable, and really made me feel comfortable. Her staff was warm and helpful and while the dentist is not my favorite place, Dr. Iebba made it a great experience. She did a great job inspecting my teeth and gave me useful feedback. I never felt like I am being "cross-sold" so to speak on any of the procedures. If you have a complicated case, she would never act as a "jack of all trades" that is eager to get their hand on more expensive procedures. Instead, she would always send you to a specialist who deals with those types of cases every day many times a day. I liked that Dr. Iebba lays out all possible treatment options in front of you, tells you pros and cons of each of them and it is really up to you which option you choose. Before I came to Dr. Iebba always felt like my previous dentist tried to find stuff that just wasn't there and was very interested in doing procedures like crowns and implants when there was no need for them. I came in for a general dental cleaning and I left being a patient forever! ”

“ I cannot imagine how a dentist could be better than Dr. Iebba. I had not been to the dentist for over 12 years until recently. I made an appointment at Dr. Iebba's office only because of the proximity of her office to where I work. Only after the appointment was made did I bother to read the glowing reviews that have already been posted about her. Those reviews, however, still did little to assuage my fears of the dentist. I went in for a routine cleaning and found Dr. Iebba to be exceedingly kind. She was not condescending or overly critical about my years of dental neglect. Instead she simply encouraged me to begin to get on the right track now. After discovering that I had numerous cavities (a fact I already knew) she set up an appointment with me to come back. Even in this regard, Dr. Iebba was extremely accommodating as she made sure to work with my hectic schedule to find an appropriate date. The thought of having five cavities repaired filled me with dread. Of course, just about everyone is afraid of the dentist, but my fear was such that over the course of more than decade I had put this act off even though I was covered by insurance most of that time. I contemplated cancelling my appointment, but didn't--in large measure because Dr. Mitchell had worked with me to find the right time for my appointment and had seemed so reassuring before. It�s also worth mentioning that her staff was equally courteous and accommodating. The day arrived and mild panic ensued. But this panic was completely unnecessary. I felt no pain during the entire procedure...nothing. Dr. Iebba was punctual, kind and informative. She described each portion of the procedure to me as she completed it. It was quick and painless. Of course the sound of the drill was unavoidable, but I never felt it. Most importantly, I never smelled that horrible stench of burning teeth that immediately fills me with dread. Today, the day after my appointment, I feel fine and I have been telling everyone that, if they need to go to the dentist, they should go to Dr. Iebba. I go back next week to get more cavities ”

Every time I went to them I felt like they were trying to scare me into treatments that I didn't "need". They made it seem as if I had really bad teeth that needed some major work. I don't disagree that I hadn't paid enough attention in the past few years. But with Dr. Iebba, I don't feel like a complete loser. She doesn't oversell treatments, she's pretty thorough as far as I can see and she's very practical. She has a very soothing demeanor, her office staff are great and importantly she doesn't chat with you while she is drilling your teeth. Her staff is great, very polite and friendly, they remember me and that I prefer lunch time appointments since I come directly from office and make an attempt to find one for me without me having to haggle. I know that my review is more of a comparison between my good and bad experiences. But I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Iebba to anyone who is looking for a long term dentist. If I can I will never leave her practice. My son and I have been coming here for all our dental work - cleanings, root canal, wisdom teeth extractions, root scaling, etc. ”

After calling them I had an appointment within the week, even though it's a darned busy office. I let them know right off the bat that I hadn't been to a dentist since I was a kid. They immediately did a hundred small, considerate things to put me at ease: friendly but kept their distance, explained everything that they were going to do in both fancy-dentist-speak and English, were incredibly gentle, and kept a rolling dialogue of non-tooth-related things.They confirmed my wisdom teeth were probably causing my headaches and tight-discomfort feeling in my jaw. Then they cleaned my teeth (hardly felt a thing) and to my surprise declared my teeth in fine shape, amazing due to my lack of attention (seldom floss, brush once a day or maybe twice on a good day)! They said I had a small cavity and a small pit, but gushed at how healthy and strong my teeth and gums are. This is the best dentist I know. ”

“ Cannot imagine how a dentist could be better than Dr. Iebba I cannot imagine how a dentist could be better than Dr. Iebba. I had not been to the dentist for over 12 years until recently. I made an appointment at Dr. Iebba's office only because of the proximity of her office to where I work. Only after the appointment was made did I bother to read the glowing reviews that have already been posted about her. Those reviews, however, still did little to assuage my fears of the dentist. I went in for a routine cleaning and found Dr. Iebba to be exceedingly kind. She was not condescending or overly critical about my years of dental neglect. Instead she simply encouraged me to begin to get on the right track now. After discovering that I had numerous cavities (a fact I already knew) she set up an appointment with me to come back. Even in this regard, Dr. Iebba was extremely accommodating as she made sure to work with my hectic schedule to find an appropriate date. The thought of having five cavities repaired filled me with dread. Of course, just about everyone is afraid of the dentist, but my fear was such that over the course of more than decade I had put this act off even though I was covered by insurance most of that time. I contemplated cancelling my appointment, but didn't--in large measure because Dr. Iebba had worked with me to find the right time for my appointment and had seemed so reassuring before. Its also worth mentioning that her staff was equally courteous and accommodating. Today, the day after my appointment, I feel fine and I have been telling everyone that, if they need to go to the dentist, they should go to Dr. Iebba. I go back next week to get more cavities repaired (I had nine total). I don�t expect any different results from that visit, however, and I feel much more comfortable with the entire process thanks to Dr. Iebba and her staff. ”

For over fifteen years, that small piece of glue caused undue embarrassment. For some strange reason, bean skin from Taco Bell bean burritos would inevitably get caught on that small piece of glue, sticking to my tooth like a brown sheath. Until my recent visit to Dr. Iebba, I had no idea why that took place. She fixed everything and now it is great. Thanks Dr. Iebba! She is the best. ”

“ The best dentist ever! This was actually my second visit and I figured I should probably give her a review since I really like her office. However on my first visit when I was filling out the paperwork, I realized I lost my insurance card but since I had 2 co-workers already using her services they took the time to lookup my information for me. They do email and text reminders which is great for folks like me who constantly forget stuff. In fact this was a reschedule because when they called to confirm my last appointment, I had the wrong date listed on my calendar. They were easy going about setting up this new appointment rather than giving a disapproving tone because of my mess-up. As far as the 2nd visit went, I was seen within a minute or 2 of arriving. The hygienist was friendly and asking about any dental concerns including one I brought up at the last visit, which shows me she actually reviewed my file before seeing me. I also inquired about a new night guard and by the end of my cleaning they already had my insurance info on it and my total out of pocket cost should I choose to get one. BTW the hygienist works fast but never once did she nick my gums :) Everyone is warm, friendly and caring. Every step of the way they take the time to make sure you're comfortable and explain what they will be doing so you understand the process. Overall my experience shows me they value my time as much as theirs, they care about their patients as people, not just another file and I've never felt that they are trying to sell you something you don't need. ”

“ rachana Iebba dmd: experience definitely not great on either of my two recent visits. both the opening and todays impression work took a really long time to execute with what seemed to be a lot of fumbling and surprisingly poor muscle memory skills, especially on the part of the older periodontist . I do understand that Anne Marie's notes were a source of confusion, but I would think that the correctly sized healing cap and screwed in guide could have been easily determined by fit and feel even if one had done these procedures many times before. That square pegs fit in square holes, etc., should be obvious fro the git go. That said: I think YOU are an extremely able professional who knew exactly what she was doing, obviously having learned technique by a lot of doing. I must also say that Dr. Iebba impressed me while recementing a crown on my last visit with her exposition on gold crown burnishing and related matters. She has very high patient communication skills. Her mechanical abilities certainly failed to impress today, but she is young and everybody has a bad day. Anne Marie would have opened and put in a UNIVERSAL abutment in about 20 minutes with smooth elegance. This certainly seems the more efficient procedure that taking an impression before putting in the abutment. Dr. Iebba did explain, again deploying great patient skills, that a custom abutment might be needed in this situation and that the procedure being used covered that base. Since you are doing this for a living and presumably want to make money doing it the difference in procedures is of importance to you, not to me the patient. FINALLY: as I originally explained to dr, riordan (is that the name) when Anne Marie introduced me to him I WANT A ZIRCONIA SCREW RETAINED CROWN. I do not want in any circumstance a PM crown!!! They are as stupid as root canals. I actually would prefer gold, but at my age and life expectancy zirconia, although only a better grade of crap than pm, is probably good enough. ZIRCONIA/SCREW RETAINED. period. I reemphasize this lest your staff ignore this now several times repeated ”

People were using shared computers with the same gloves that they were putting in peoples mouths. Even without covid risk, I would expect that the gloves/ hands that are in my mouth haven't touched any equipment that has not been sanitized for my use only. ”

“ Let me start by saying right when I walked in, everyone in the building was smiling and ready to serve. The receptionists were very kind and I only had to fill out a few papers that took about 2-3 min. They told me to get comfortable and I will be seen shortly, they have a plethora of magazines to read with background music to put you in a zen type place. The place was a little busy at the time, but wait was no longer than 5 min. I get called back to do X-rays and the whole nine for being a new patient. Once that was over I had the pleasure of meeting with the financial coordinator. She laid out my options of treatment and soon after had the doctor herself, Mr. Iebba came in for an initial assessment of my teeth. After a 5 min checkup the doctor sat down with me and told me the issues I have with my teeth and the recommended route for treatment. After the treatment recommendations from Doctor, it's money talk. The financial coordinator will go over the payment options and give you a better understanding about the treatment itself. The best thing about this place is they have financing if you need. After the payment plan is settled, I went back to get a digital scan done for my Invisalign trays. Let me tell you, this practice is up to date and has a great atmosphere to it. The machine that did the digital scan gets sent straight to Invisalign and they start creating your whole batch of trays, which is incredible. By far the best dentist in Reading. Big kudos to Dr. Iebba and her team. ”

“ I am thoroughly impressed by the treatment I've gotten here. I hadn't found a dentist in Boston since I moved (4 years ago), and would go to my old dentist on visits home. I missed a few cleanings over the past couple years and found myself with an awful toothache and no one to call. I knew it was bad, but I wanted to choose the right dentist who was knowledgeable and wouldn't rip me off (after a recent layoff, I had no insurance). I spoke with the receptionist, who scheduled an emergency consultation and was very calming when I explained my situation. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with kindness and transparency. Dr. Tran took x-rays and they has an excellent endodontist for a root canal. As nervous as I was about the entire procedure, Dr. Iebba explained everything calmly and clearly. “ I had been thinking about veneers for years but was always hesitant to go through with it. After years of research and putting it off, I finally took the plunge! Dr. Iebba made me feel so at ease and didn't pressure me like a lot of my past dentists did. She answered all of my questions honestly, and genuinely wanted me to make the best decision for me being as it was an elective procedure. She had the lab create a mock up a smile simulation, and designed my temporaries to be just like the real ones so I had plenty of time to feel them out before getting the permanents. I didn't end up making any adjustments as the temporaries looked great. I had a fear that temporaries would look noticeably fake, but they didn't at all! The permanents look and feel even better! I've had people ask me if I got my teeth whitened, but no one has really noticed that these are veneers, which is exactly what I wanted. I've also had dentists in the past try to tell me that bleach shades would look fake, but you don't exactly want to spend this much money and not have really white teeth... Dr. Iebba totally understood that and made my temporaries a bleach shade so that I knew what it was like, and wouldn't wonder what it would have been like if I went whiter. I ultimately did go with the bleach shades (Om3/Om2 blend). I was very indecisive about this part, and trusted Dr. Iebba's opinion. She nailed it! I've had consultations with numerous dentists about veneers in the past, but Dr. Iebba was truly the only one who made me feel comfortable enough to move forward. I'm sure I was one of her more nervous patients :D, but I couldn't be happier with my new smile. It's an amazing feeling to not be self conscious about your smile, and well worth the $$$! “ After telling a patient you are in his/her insurance company's network and that you accept the insurance company's contracted rates, you should inform the patient when you decide to no longer accept the insurance company's rates BEFORE performing dental procedures on them, not after a service is performed. This gives the patient the option of whether they want to have the procedure done or go to a dentist that is in their network to keep their expenses down. Covid has reduced my income considerably, and I am forced to go to doctors and dentists who are in my insurance company's network. I am not able to pay above and beyond my 20% copay. I originally went to Reading Dental Associates several years ago purposely, and with the understanding they would accept my insurance company's rates and I would only pay a 20% co-pay. But yesterday, AFTER having dental work done, you surprised me with a much higher bill after. Initially, you did not explain why the bill was higher, I had to elicit from you that you no longer accepted my insurance company's contracted rates. Had I know you were no longer accepting my insurance company's rates, I would have postponed the procedure which was not urgent, and would have found another dentist in my network. But on top of having being surprised with a much higher bill yesterday, I had two expensive crowns installed at your office not long ago, and a subsequent root canal, and I still have much pain in these two teeth. ”

“ I have been going to Reading Dental Associates for several years. I went there purposely, and with the understanding they would accept my insurance company's rates. In other words, I would only have to pay a 20% copay and not be billed the difference between what they bill the insurance company and what the insurance company allows/pays them. This helps keep my dental/medical expenses more reasonable. Yesterday, after having a filling done, I was asked to pay an amount that was much higher than I have paid for like procedures in the past. After struggling to get an answer as to why the bill was much higher, I was informed they no longer accept the rates my insurance company allows. Had I known this, I would have postponed the filling which was not urgent and probably would have found a dentist who was still in my network. But I was not given this option. Reading Dental Assoc. surprised with this news AFTER the work was done. If they decided to change their policy, they should have notified patients affected by it beforehand, not after work is done. This surprise bill exacerbated my current dental situation, because not long ago, I had Dr. Iebba install expensive crowns install on two teeth. On one of the teeth, I had an expensive root canal after it was crowned because I still had pain. To this date, I still have pain in both of these teeth in spite of having these expensive procedures done. Chewing is very difficult and I may to consider costly implants to get rid of the pain. But I doubt I can afford the implants because coverage is limited by my insurance company and I have already paid a large amount on the procedures that offered no improvement. ”

“ Had my first appointment here today and everything about it was great. Sandi got me an appointment that worked with my schedule and I was seen the next day. Vanessa, who did my x-rays, was super nice and patient. She made me feel at ease from the beginning. My hygienist, Sonya, was also great. She explained everything before she did it so I knew what to expect. I hadn't been to the dentist since before covid so I knew I'd be sore, but she made sure I wasn't in pain and took breaks when I needed. She also talked to me like a regular person and gave me some tips for flossing without making me feel embarrassed. The dentist was nice and I didn't feel rushed asking questions. She also explained something with my teeth that's been bothering me for years that no other dentist ever explained to me before, and then offered a solution that could fix it. I didn't even know it could be fixed. Everyone working there works well together and seemed to communicate well with each other. So happy to have found a long-term dentist again.
